Terms of Use
Last updated: August 1, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Aloudly. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. Please read them — they cover your subscription, what Aloudly is and isn't, and the limits of our responsibility.
1. The service
Aloudly generates personalized affirmation stories and reads them aloud. Content is created automatically based on the information you provide. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
2. Subscription and billing
Aloudly offers an auto-renewing subscription, sold in weekly, monthly, and annual plans. When you subscribe:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription automatically renews at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of your selected plan.
- Prices are shown in the app in your local currency and may vary by region and applicable taxes.
3. Free trial
New subscribers may be offered a three-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription and your Apple ID is charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. A trial is available once per user.
4. Managing and cancelling
You manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal through your Apple ID account settings, not inside Aloudly. Go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms.
5. Not medical or psychological advice
Aloudly is a wellness and self-reflection tool for entertainment and personal-development purposes only. It is not a medical, therapeutic, or psychological service, and it does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. Nothing in the app is a substitute for professional care. If you are struggling, please contact a qualified professional or, in an emergency, your local emergency services.
6. No guarantee of results
Affirmations are generated automatically and are provided "as is" and "as available." We make no promises about any particular outcome, benefit, or result from using Aloudly, and we do not warrant that generated content will be accurate, appropriate, or uninterrupted.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app: no unlawful content, no attempts to reverse-engineer or disrupt the service, and no use of the app to harass or harm others. You are responsible for the information you enter, including the names and details of other people, and confirm you have the right to provide them.
8. Intellectual property
Aloudly, including its name, design, software, and branding, is owned by us and protected by law. The stories generated for you are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly present generated content as a product of your own. Background imagery is provided by third parties under their own licenses.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aloudly and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on generated content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of Aloudly after a change means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app and cancel any subscription.
